Bard hernia mesh settlements have been reached and may resolve most of the litigation. The amounts and criteria are confidential and require a majority of the individual plaintiffs to participate. More than 38,000 design defect product liability lawsuits filed over the past six years involve plaintiffs that suffered painful injuries linked to polypropylene hernia mesh products.
