Pelvic Mesh and Bladder Sling Lawsuit Update 2024
We are accepting pelvic mesh and bladder sling removal/revision cases.
$1.6+ billion in settlements and $240+ million verdicts have been claimed for women since 2011. While most verdicts are appealed and settle for lower amounts, these awards show the successes women have in transvaginal mesh injury litigation. The FDA banned some devices in 2019, while others remain on the market. Major medical clinics and university affiliated medical institutions have published articles and scientific studies on bladder sling and pelvic mesh complications and treatments, as follows:
-
Cleveland Clinic – Mesh Problems and Complications
-
University of Texas – Southwestern Medical: FDA Ban on Transvaginal Mesh
-
Mayo Clinic – Mesh in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery
-
University of Miami Health: Mesh Complications
-
ACOG Management of Mesh and Graft Complications

Transvaginal Mesh Verdicts
Most of the bladder sling and pelvic mesh removal verdicts involved women with multiple complex surgeries resulting in lifelong injuries with juries awarding punitive damages. Note that jury verdicts may be reversed, remanded, reduced or appealed by the losing parties and settled for amounts less than the jury awards.
