Amputations

Traumatic amputations often occur through auto, motorcycle and truck accidents, construction and refinery accidents or railroad crossing collisions. Essential loss of blood is life-threatening and treatment for shock must be immediately instituted. In certain circumstances, saving the amputated body part, thus allowing chances of reattachment by surgery can be accomplished.

However, in the event this is impossible, it is imperative for rapid healing of the stump accompanied by rehabilitation with a prosthetic device. In many instances, the amputees can resume most activities of daily living. Our firm has represented all types of amputees and understand the critical importance to aggressively aid in obtaining therapy and rehabilitation in order for our clients to recover.
